HENDERSON COUNTY, N.C. – July 19, 2024 – In a significant boost to the Apple Ridge Development Project, the Dogwood Health Trust announced on Friday, July 12th, an award of $1M to support infrastructure for the Apple Ridge Subdivision in Henderson County. This funding matches the county’s commitment of $1,500,000 towards infrastructure. Additionally, Dogwood Health Trust has committed $500,000 over the next two years to enhance HAC’s capacity to meet the rising need for safe, affordable workforce housing in its region.

Milder but muggy conditions ahead with daily storms
GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Heat relief finally arrives Friday, but the mugginess and storms will be sticking around. Highs will range from the upper 70s across the mountains to just the mid 80s upstate. That’s actually below average for mid-July, and we will remain on a stretch of highs in the middle to upper 80s through the middle of next week. Humidity levels will not drop significantly, but we will at least be spared the extreme heat for a while.

The team is entering its fourth year under head coach Matt Rochester, who made some changes this offseason by bringing in a new offensive coordinator.
