L.A.- based fast-casual restaurant prepares to bring the spice to new Greenville location
Greenville will get a taste of Nashville hot chicken with a national franchise coming to Woodruff Road. Los Angeles food staple, Dave’s Hot Chicken will open doors at 10 a.m. Friday and stay open until midnight. The hours are the same on Saturday and are 11 a.m.-10 p.m. on weekdays and Sundays.
Judge denies motion to dismiss charges against men in Simpsonville women's hit-and-run
The case against two men charged in the deaths of two Simpsonville women will continue after a judge denied a motion to alter the charges. Max Gentilin, 25, and Seth Carlson, 33, both of Charleston were charged with two counts of leaving the scene of an accident causing death after Charleston Police said they hit and killed Lizzy Zito and Arianna Gamber, both 20.

German clean energy company to create 68 jobs with first U.S. operations in Greenville
GREENVILLE — A Germany-founded energy storage company has announced plans to invest $3 million in establishing its headquarters in Greenville County, creating 68 new jobs. Fenecon, which creates battery energy storage and energy management systems, plans to establish its first U.S. operations at Garlington North Industrial Park, not far from the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport.
