Daily storms, humid with milder temperatures
GREENVILLE, S.C. (FOX Carolina) - Storms have drenched parts of the region today, and more downpours are ahead. It’s another evening with scattered thunderstorms. The main issue we’ve faced this time around has been torrential rain and localized flooding, making for hazardous travel conditions as we head off into the weekend. Unlike the last couple of nights, storms are likely to persist longer into this evening, potentially as far out as midnight. Isolated leftovers will be possible overnight, with lows remaining mild and muggy in the mid 60s to around 70.
William Arnold Graham, 1939-2024
William Arnold Graham, age 85 of Brevard, passed away July 14th, 2024 at Transylvania Regional Hospital in Brevard after a brief battle with cancer. Bill was born February 23rd, 1939 in Bremen Indiana to Clarence and Holice Graham. He married his wife of 50 years, Dorothy Beebe, on September 12th, 1974 and raised their combined 13 children in LaPorte Indiana before moving to Western North Carolina. They moved to Texas and then South Carolina before returning to their beloved mountains and settling in Brevard. Bill enjoyed working on cars and watching car and tractor shows on TV. He was a lifelong Notre Dame fan. Bill loved his family with all his heart, and his passion was spending time with his grandkids. He especially enjoyed playing with his great grandkids whenever they would visit.
CBRE names new market leader for South Carolina
There’s a new real estate boss for CBRE in South Carolina. CBRE Group named Audrey Frey its senior managing director and market leader for its South Carolina business. Frey will oversee business operations and drive the market’s growth strategy for all advisory service lines of business, including leasing, sales, debt and structured finance, valuation, and property management for its Charleston, Columbia and Greenville offices, the company said in a news release. She will be based in Greenville.

Two more Irmo Little League teams reach Regionals
Add two more Irmo Little League teams who have claimed state championships. On Tuesday, the 9-11 baseball team won its program-record fifth straight title in Greenville. They will advance to the Southeast Region Tournament of Champions in Wilson, N.C. In Florence, the Majors baseball team won its state title and will advance to the regional tournament in Warner Robbins, Ga. They join five other Irmo Little League teams who are playing in Regional tournaments starting Friday.
Officials find missing, endangered 85-year-old in Henderson Co.
HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. (FOX Carolina) - The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons said a missing and endangered man has been found in Henderson County. According to officials, 85-year-old Richard Lee Dulin was last seen leaving a home in Hendersonville in a red Ford F150 with North Carolina license plate: HD62688. The truck has a “very large” trailer hitch.
