FCRA approves trail funding, extends development time
The Fort Chaffee Redevelopment Authority Board of Trustees on Thursday (July 18) agreed to put $25,000 toward trails connecting Chaffee Crossing to Greenwood. Arkansas leads the NCAA with 20 track and field athletes going to the Olympics
It's well known that Arkansas has an elite track and field program, but now there's no doubt the Razorbacks are the king. According to the NCAA, Arkansas has the highest number of track and field athletes in the NCAA going to the Olympics. The Hogs have 20 athletes traveling to Paris, competing for seven countries. They are one of only five universities with double-digit track and field Olympians. The next highest university is Florida, with 17, followed by USC (14), LSU (11), and Texas (10).
