TVA Board approves additional $150M in advanced nuclear funding
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -On Friday, the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) Board of Directors announced that $150 million in additional advanced nuclear funding was approved to support continued design work on potential small modular reactors (SMRs) at its Clinch River site near Oak Ridge. It’s the latest announcement since the board also approved a rate increase.

Farm To Table Dinner Raising Funds
Fresh ingredients and revitalizing downtown, the aims of the Main Street McMinnville Farm to Table Dinner Saturday night. 4 teens accused of stealing car in Nashville arrested in Mt. Juliet, police say
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - On Friday night, the Mt. Juliet Police Department arrested four teens after they allegedly stole a car from Nashville. Officers found the car on Lebanon Road near Mt. Juliet Road. When the car fled, police did not chase them beyond the city limits. However, the car returned to Mt. Juliet moments later and police then used spike strips to disable it.
