When driving in the big city in Texas, traffic jams are a given. It's frustrating and most people just get impatient and become idiots behind the wheel. That's where someone's traffic rage will show and we could see some fisticuffs while stopped. We see it all the time on social media nowadays. Too bad cooler heads couldn't prevail when the frustration of a traffic jam get to us. Surprisingly, that happened in Houston of all places and lightened the mood of both of these men during some jammed up traffic.

Texas is wildly ahead of the entire United States for newborn babies contracting a super deadly disease, and it appears there is not a lot that can be done to stop the spread at this time. In fact, Texas is dealing with an epidemic that is so severe, it has a 50% lead over the next closest state, and it is costing infants their life at an alarming number.
Texas Public Schools Will Get More Money If They Use Biblical Curriculum
Texas public schools could soon get a $60 per student bonus if the use a curriculum pushed by state Republicans that includes overt Biblical content. On Thursday, members of the public addressed the Texas State Board of Education with concerns that the new curriculum, if adopted, was discriminatory because of its obvious bias toward Christianity. Robert Norris, the founder of Grandfathers for Public Schools, pointed out that incorporating almost exclusively Christian texts was essentially subtle indoctrination.

A recent social media claim that 40,000 people in Houston, Texas were diagnosed with STDs the week of June 9 is false. A Houston Department of Health spokesperson said the numbers represent tests conducted, not positive diagnoses, and include data for the entire state of Texas. CDC data showed no reported cases of chlamydia, syphilis, or gonorrhea in Texas for that week, debunking the false claim that spread across Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms.

State Board of Education approves 4 new charter schools in Texas
Four new charter schools are one step closer to opening in Texas after the State Board of Education voted to approve them Friday. On Wednesday, Texas Education Agency Commissioner Mike Morath recommended SBOE members approve five schools.
