Southside Panthers defeat Carver Rams in season opener on Thursday
The Southside Panthers defeated the Carver Rams out of Birmingham on Thursday in a jamboree on the Panther’s field. The Panthers struck first against the Rams to quickly put points on the scoreboard. The Rams were able to answer and keep the Panthers on their toes, but the Panthers pulled away with a 30-12 victory to kick off their season.

Spartans open season with shutout of Demopolis

HANCEVILLE. Ala. – Cold Springs and Hanceville met at Ray Talley Stadium Friday night to kick off the 2024 season and after a tight first half, the Eagles put 34 points on the board in the second half to pull away with a 48-30 win over the Bulldogs. Cold Springs racked up over 400 yards on the ground, led by Matt Williams who rushed for 201 yards and three touchdowns on 24 carries.
