Community Transit expands Swift Gold Line, community input wanted
Snohomish County, JULY 11. – Community Transit (CT) is expanding its most popular service, the Swift bus rapid transit (BRT) network, to dramatically improve transit in Everett, Marysville, and Arlington. The community is invited to give input on the first phase of the scoping study for the Swift Gold Line. The public comment period runs through Aug. 7.
Tips sought for 2006 cold-case murders of Seattle mom, daughter hiking near Granite Falls
GRANITE FALLS, Wash. — The Snohomish County Sheriff's Office is asking for tips to help solve a cold-case double homicide that occurred 18 years ago. On July 11, 2006, a mother and daughter were hiking on Pinnacle Lake Trail east of Granite Falls and Verlot. They left their Seattle home early in the morning and were found shot dead on the trail later that day, according to the SCSO.
