STANWOOD — A woman was killed in an apparent hit-and-run crash about 5 miles outside of Stanwood on Friday night. At around 9:20 p.m. Friday, Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a car crash along Pioneer Highway south of Sunday Lake. A woman, a passenger in the vehicle, was ejected from the Cadillac Escalade and killed.

A fourth suspect was arrested Tuesday in a series of home invasion robberies that included one in Mountlake Terrace Jan. 15. Mountlake Terrace Police Cmdr. Scott King said Wednesday that the 19-year-old suspect — a Kitsap County resident — was arrested at his workplace in Port Orchard, and then booked into Snohomish County Jail for investigation of multiple robberies. Mountlake Terrace police, the Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office and the Violent Offender Task Force worked together on the case.
Woman arrested after shooting man during domestic violence incident in Granite Falls
GRANITE FALLS, Wash. — A 46-year-old woman shot a 43-year-old man with whom she had a domestic relationship Tuesday in Snohomish County. Around 7:20 p.m., Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the 35000 block of the Mountain Loop Hwy in Granite Falls, according to the SCSO. Deputies said Wednesday the man is expected to survive his injuries, and the man and woman are in a "domestic relationship" and live together.

Around 7:20 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office patrol deputies were dispatched to the 35000 block of the Mountain Loop HWY for a report of a shooting. Upon arrival, deputies located the victim, a 43-year-old man, with a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was transported by aid to Providence Reginal Medical Center. The status of his injuries are unknown at this time.
