East Street Archives brought winter back to Southern Vermont on Saturday.

Their three-day event, Homesick , held the Powers Retro Pipe contest on Saturday, and true to form for New England, if there's a halfpipe event, there's a good chance it's going to snow.

    And snow, it did.

The storm had been forecasting up to 18 inches in the area, but a last minute surge brought even more precipitation all over New England. Stratton reported 28 inches total. That's a huge one!

Joey B. reported from Stratton for The Bomb Hole, and while we won't spoil what happens with Todd Richards' McTwist, Todd commented on the post saying, "Deepest turns on the hill were in the flat bottom!"

Winter is back on the East Coast, and with a few weeks to spare. Yew!
