A week ago in France at the final Freeride World Tour stop of the winter, Canadian Erin Sauve navigated the steep terrain of Verbier to win the 2024 overall FWT championship in her inaugural season on the tour.

In honor of her victory, Erin's home resort, Red Mountain in Rossland, BC, is celebrating by welcoming folks to join the new FWT champ for some runs on Saturday, April 6th from 10am-2pm.

With the mountains of British Columbia as her stomping grounds, it's no surprise that Erin has a technical prowess and calculated confidence in her riding. At Verbier, Erin linked two cliffs near the top of her run that awarded her the highest score on the women's side and put her in the top spot of the 2024 overall standings.

Take a look at Erin's winning run from the 2024 Yeti Xtreme Verbier.

This is likely just the beginning for Erin, who will undoubtedly look to build on her very successful rookie season next year. Follow her at @erin.shreds on Instagram.
