Holy Bowly Returns to Sunshine Village April 29th - May 3rd

While it might not feel like it in much of North America, it is, in fact, springtime. And what does springtime mean (in addition to the advent of slushy park laps at some point when Mother Nature decides it's time for warmer temps)? Holy Bowly.

Snowboy Productions' much esteemed event returns to Sunshine Village, Alberta at the end of April, kicking off five days for invited riders on April 29th and opening up the flow-forward set up to the public on May 4-5th.

In a shared Instagram post, The Source wrote, "The best event of the season is less than a month away!" beginning the unofficial countdown to the "gathering of creativity and flow."

Krush Kulesza, founder of Snowboy, and his crew of master rake wielders spend weeks handcrafting the transition-filled park, always considering favorite features from years past while bringing to life new ideas.

Here's a look at the 2023 event, which was loaded with volcanos, bowls, bumps, and so much more .

Snowboy was at Sunshine in March for the latest event in The Village series. The resort is an ideal setting for spring park builds due to its long season and favorable conditions in spring.

As we get closer to Bowly, stay tuned to @snowboyproductions , who will likely drop some tantalizing imagery from past Bowlys (Bowlies?) to stoke the flames of creativity leading into the event.
