Tempe police arrest man for trespassing who had previously been feeding homeless in parks
TEMPE, Ariz. — A man who fed people experiencing homelessness at Tempe parks was arrested Friday for trespassing, according to the Tempe Police Department. Austin Davis received numerous warnings and citations for trespassing at Moeur Park, the first on July 1 for being in the park after hours and being "verbally aggressive" with park rangers. Davis was banned from the park for 30 days after receiving the trespassing citations, police said.

Maricopa County invests more than $130K in dark-sky discovery center and other projects
The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors approved more than $130,000 in funding this week. The largest portion of that money, about $100,000, will go toward the International Dark Sky Discovery Center in Fountain Hills.
