How Maurice Benard Mixed Up These Two General Hospital Actors On SOM

Maurice Benard is always interviewing General Hospital actors on his mental health podcast State of Mind, and the most recent episode saw him hilariously mix up two of his co-stars.

Adam, Who?

Benard began the Sunday, September 8 episode with his usual introduction, asking viewers to subscribe and teasing a great interview ahead. But things took a turn when he revealed what happened when he walked into his podcast set.

"I thought I was interviewing Adam... Jagger on my show," he admitted. "So I have all my notes, all my research. I thought I was cool as hell."

"And then somebody else shows up," the actor said as he burst out laughing. "But they're both named Adam, so my wife probably said 'Adam' and I said, 'Okay, I know that Adam.'"

It turned out the Adam that Benard would be interviewing wasn't Harrington, but Nikolas' portrayer Adam Huss. "I don't know if I'd want to wing it with anyone else that I can think of," Benard revealed.

Where Are They Now?

Huss was last seen in Port Charles in August when Laura (Genie Francis) visited Nikolas in prison in hopes he would be a match for Lulu's (here's who will be playing the character soon!) liver transplant. As for Harrington, the actor who joined GH in February as John "Jagger" Cates said farewell to the soap on September 3 when Sonny (Benard) shot and killed the character. John's reign of terror may be over, but Sonny's found himself in new hot water after Kristina (Kate Mansi) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) inserted themselves into the messy murder.
