The action in this Young and Restless spoilers preview for the week of October 14 begins with a heart-to-heart talk between Chance and Summer. He has been investigating the suspicious death of the woman her brother loved, the woman who has helped him raise his daughter Lucy. Now that Chance is back on the force, he is knee-deep in the case and what he's found isn't good.

“I did find some disturbing evidence in Daniel and Heather’s apartment. Things don’t look too good for your brother right now,” Chance admits to Summer. How will Summer react to this news? Will she blame the messenger and warn her brother about it?

Spilled Tea

Jack knows that Victor is most likely behind his son's new business venture and soon he will get the confirmation he needed of that fact. “Victor Newman. He’s the silent investor behind Glissade. He’s the one whose been pulling Kyle’s strings all along,” Audra spills to Jack. Now that Jack knows his worst fear is indeed fact, what will he do about it? Will he confront The Mustache? Will he team up with Audra to get his son away from the master manipulator?

A History Lesson

Lucy is at loose ends after the death of her mother and she needs a female to step in and help guide her. But is Phyllis really who she needs right now? “Would you like to know about your grandmother? I have a few stories to tell you,” Phyllis confides to granddaughter.
