Go Behind the Scenes With the Y&R Kids!

They may be hard-working professionals who can churn out pages of dialogue and act their way through heavy soap storylines, but the youngest stars of The Young & The Restless are still kids who like to blow off steam and have a good time!

Recently, TV siblings Paxton Mishkind (Johnny) and Sienna Mercuri (Katie) have shared some photos on social media that show just how much they enjoy spending their at-work downtime with Judah Mackey (Connor) and Redding Munsell (Harrison). From posing at some behind-the-scenes locations on the Y&R set to plain old being silly when the cameras aren’t rolling, these young stars seem to love being at work!

1. “Missing set school antics on Y&R with my buddies,” wrote Mishkind, to which Mackey replied, “Hope we get to hang again soon!”

2. Mercuri, Munsell, and Mishkind were all smiles as they posed nicely together on the park set…

3. … but then let loose! “So much fun doing scenes and getting goofy with Redding and Sienna,” wrote Mishkind.

4. Mercuri returned to the soap in June, three years after she'd last appeared as Victoria and Billy’s daughter. “My wish came true to go back to CBS Television City!” wrote the tween. “I can’t believe it’s been three years!”

5. The young actress stopped in the hallway to pose beside a publicity photo of the soap’s iconic supercouple, Victor and Nikki — aka Katie’s grandparents!

6. “Any day is a good day on set with my soap sis, Sienna,” praised Mishkind.

7. Mishkind joined the cast in between Mercuri’s stints in Genoa City. “There are new faces, and I am making new friends there,” she shared. “So glad to meet Paxton, my new TV big brother!”
