Kate Mansi Reveals How She Injured Her Foot

Social media has become a great way for soap stars to stay in touch with their fans, and after General Hospital ’s Kate Mansi (Kristina) discovered that her Instagram account was suspended, she returned in full force to Twitter/X! (Although she joked that her Insta was suspended “because I was a naughty girl,” the actress admitted she honestly doesn’t know what happened.)

Recently, Mansi shared a quick TikTok video that revealed she was wearing a boot on her left foot after attempting to remove a piece of glass by herself. “It’s important to remember when you think you’re a doctor,” she sighed, “you’re not.” She then showed herself walking around holding her left sneaker in her hand because her left foot was in a boot.

In another post, Mansi reached out to The Young & The Restless star Michelle Stafford (Phyllis) — who previously played Nina on GH — to ask, “How’d you shower again with yours?” A month earlier, Stafford revealed that she had sprained her ankle and shared a video on Instagram where she attempted to wrap her bandaged ankle in a plastic bag so she could shower without getting it wet.

Mansi previously played Abigail on Days of Our Lives , but even though she’s now working on GH, she jokingly admitted she’s still not actually a doctor in real life. “My stepdad’s an OB,” she posted, “but that doesn’t really help us here.”
