GH Spoilers 8/16/24: The Trap Is Set!

Tensions are rising in today’s General Hospital spoilers! Laura meets with Brennan, Mac apologizes, TJ wants to take action, Kristina gets her results, and Ava is wary of Jagger’s plan while Sonny feels the walls closing in!

Now that Brennan is heading up the WSB branch in Port Charles, the mayor decides it’s time they had a conversation. “I think we have a unique opportunity here,” Laura suggests. But will Jack agree with what she has in mind?

After Cody pulled James out of the water at the Quartermaine boathouse, everyone is just grateful the little boy is okay. But Mac knows there’s something he needs to say to his grandson. “It wasn’t your mom’s mistake,” he informs James. “It was mine.”

Molly and TJ have a difficult conversation with Curtis and Stella. “We can’t put it off forever,” TJ admits. But as they prepare to have a funeral for their daughter, what about Kristina’s involvement? Because she’s waiting to get released from the hospital. “I have the results of your discharge examination,” Dr. Navarro reports as she enters the room. Will Kristina be able to get pregnant again?

At the gallery, John insists that they can spin the photos of Kristina and Ava to tell a very different story than the one the police are arguing. “Might be a bit of a stretch to paint me as a victim,” Ava worries. Can Agent Cates get her to go along with his plan?

Meanwhile, Sonny is after the pharmacist who prescribed him the placebos to get some answers about who tried to destroy him, but he’s fully aware that he could be walking into John’s trap and forced to do something he doesn’t want to do. “If Jagger forces my hand,” Sonny tells Jason, “I won’t have a choice.”
