Soap Stars Celebrate Back-To-School Time — See the Photos!

Over the past few weeks, children across the country have returned to their educational homes, putting the 2024-2025 school year in full swing. Along the way, many proud parents and grandparents have shared the obligatory first-day-of-school photo on social media — including those from General Hospital , Days of Our Lives , The Young & The Restless , and Guiding Light !

For Y&R star Michael Graziadei (Daniel), the day that his twin boys, Arlo and Bear, began preschool was the first time that the toddlers had been away from him or his fiancé, Lauren, for any length of time! “The twins have never been in daycare or out of the house without either parent for more than two-hour stretches so this will be an adjustment for all of us,” Lauren captioned an Instagram Reel posted to the boys’ The Graz Twins account. “We found an amazing school, and both Arlo and Bear were so excited for their first day.”

1. Maurice Benard (Sonny, GH)

   

   Benard is a proud grandpa, so he couldn’t help but show off a first-day photo of his sweet granddaughter, TT, who started preschool. “Honestly, it’s amazing how time goes by so fast. My little TT is in school now,” he marveled. “Next, she’ll be graduating, after that, getting married. The bottom line is, enjoy every second, every moment.”

2. Alison Sweeney (Sami, Days)

   

   Just a few days after Sweeney moved her son, Ben, into his college dorm room in Texas, her daughter, Megan, began her sophomore year of high school!

3. Bradford Anderson (Spinelli, GH)

   

   Anderson and his wife, Kiera, celebrated Juna’s first day of 8 ^th grade and Finola's first day of 5 ^th grade!

4. Laura Bell Bundy (Marah, GL)

   

   Bundy’s son, Huck, began kindergarten near their New Jersey farm. “Big day today! Can’t believe my ‘ittle’ baby is such a big boy now. So proud of you, Huckie!”

5. Viron Weaver (Wiley, GH)

   

   “First day of third grade!” wrote Weaver, posing for a back-to-school photo with sisters Venice and Vienna, and brother Vale.

6. Jordi Vilasuso (ex-Rey, Y&R)

   

   Baby Lucy got a hug before her big sisters, Evie and Riley, headed off to their first day of school. “6th & 3rd! Plus, a squishy baby,” wrote Vilasuso’s wife, Kaitlin. “I don’t know who is going to miss each other more during the day — Lucy or the girls. The obsession is real. Praying they have the best year!” It was also a bittersweet day for Kaitlin as she marveled at her firstborn getting older. “Also, middle school?! Hooowwww?!”

7. Zakary Risinger (ex-Danny, GH)

   

   “First day of school. Lessgo!” shared Risinger, now a high school sophomore.

8. Melissa Ordway (Abby, Y&R)

   

   “Back to school. Not sure how Olivia is already in 3rd grade and Sophie is in 1 ^st ,” marveled the actress. “They are growing up way too fast! Tears were shed today, but only by me. Thankful for a sweet school and sweet teachers that our girls absolutely love!”

9. Alicia Leigh Willis (ex-Courtney, GH)

   

   “First day of 7th grade!” Willis cheered, sharing a photo of her daughter, Simone.
