Multiple Fan Faves Are Returning to DAYS!

The soapy town of Salem will welcome back several former residents next summer! On the heels of the news that Days of Our Lives is bringing back Alison Sweeney (Sami) next year, and Kristian Alfonso (Hope) and Peter Reckell (Bo) are returning for a special storyline slated for May 2025, comes word that more than half a dozen additional stars will appear on the soap!

TV Insider is reporting that eight popular fan favorites were recently back at the DAYS studio filming episodes that will stream next June. (Yes, the soap tapes that far in advance.) The group included Matthew Ashford (Jack), Christie Clark (Carrie), Leann Hunley (Anna), Victoria Konefal (Ciara), Chandler Massey (Will), Thaao Penghlis (Andre), Melissa Reeves (Jennifer), and Charles Shaughnessy (Shane).

The comeback tour is part of the celebration surrounding the soap’s upcoming 60 ^th anniversary. “We always love it when members of our beloved family return to Salem,” executive producer Ken Corday told the outlet. “Fans are really going to enjoy what we have in store beginning this fall and well into next year.”

But before Reeves appears in those episodes, she’ll be back on screen next month to celebrate Thanksgiving with the Horton family as well as attend the memorial for Doug Williams . That tribute will doubly honor the real-life passing of portrayer Bill Hayes and mark the soap’s 15,000 ^th episode.

“It’s literally like when you don’t see your family and then you have a family reunion,” Reeves told TV Insider . “I’m like, ‘I have to focus on the storyline but at the same time, I want to visit with everyone and find out what’s going on in their lives.’ You could text people that but there’s nothing like seeing people in person.”

Days was renewed in March 2023 for two years, bringing the soap through its 60 ^th anniversary on Nov. 8, 2025. Let us know who else you’d love to see back in Salem for the celebration in the comments below!
