Soda Springs is the host town in Caribou County for the popular Fourth of July activities.

Families come from near and far to participate in the town's traditions.

Where else can you see the local fire department douse a city park with foam just to have kids young and old slip and slide through the foam-covered grass?

It’s an activity you won’t want to miss! The Foam Party at Soda Springs City Park will start at 2 p.m. July 3.

The holiday activities will kick off with the Culpepper and Merriweather Circus at Kelly Park on July 3 with showings at 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Soda Springs US Bank, Caribou Jacks and City Hall.

On the morning of July 4 the annual 5K walk and run at Octagon Park will begin with registration at 6:30 a.m. and the race starting at 7:30 a.m.

If running isn’t your thing, join the Lions Club at City Park for breakfast. It's $8 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-12 and kids under 6 eat free.

A mile race for children ages 12 and younger will start at 9:40 a.m. beginning at Chevron. No registration fees but if under the age of 6 they need to be accompanied by an adult.

The parade will follow at 10 a.m. with Grand Marshall Linda Anderson. The parade starts at Dave’s Tackle. Please remember cars parked overnight along the street are subject to ticketing.

The fun in the park starts immediately following the parade with a free carnival and food/shopping vendors to wander through at City Park.

There will also be 4 on 4 volleyball and 3 on 3 basketball tournaments.

Kelly Park will open at 6 p.m. July 4 for fireworks. Come relax and enjoy the evening with others. Bring blankets, lawn chairs and don’t forget the bug spray. Live music will start at 8 p.m. by Cherry Peak Resort. Food trucks will be on site.

The spectacular July 4 fireworks show will begin at 10 p.m. Thank you to Caribou Medical Center, ITAFOS, Bayer and Caribou Ford for sponsoring the fireworks.
