MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) - Kansas State Football players Avery Johnson and Kam Sallis met with fans on Thursday morning at the Manhattan Town Center. The event, called “Pizza and Players,” was sponsored by WTC Fiber. Johnson and Sallis signed mini footballs, met fans, and took pictures with Wildcat supporters of all ages. He announced this week that his TeamSeas initiative has successfully removed over 34-million pounds of trash from the ocean. The project, launched by MrBeast and fellow YouTuber Mark Rober in October 2021, aimed to raise $30-million to remove 30-million pounds of trash from the world’s oceans and rivers. Two days ago, MrBeast shared that TeamSeas exceeded their goal, removing 34,080,191 pounds of trash from oceans worldwide.
