Springfield’s mayor reacts to shooting at city barber shop
SPRINGFIELD, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - Three people are under arrest in connection with gunshots fired Thursday morning at a Springfield barber shop. Springfield Police told us that officers, who were working an extra detail, were informed about a shooting at a barber shop located at 562 St. James Avenue when they reportedly saw a car speed away from the shop. Officers from Springfield’s C-3 unit were in the area and saw the suspect’s car turn off St. James Avenue and onto State Street.
