New Italian Eatery Anthony’s to Replace Cuisine en Locale in Somerville

A new Italian restaurant is headed to Somerville .

According to Boston Restaurant Talk , Anthony’s is planning to open at 156 Highland Ave , taking over the space formerly occupied by Cuisine en Locale. Before Cuisine en Locale, this location was home to historic event venue Anthony’s Function Hall.

A Somerville Times post indicates that Anthony’s Function Too Inc. is behind this venture, suggesting a connection to the former event space. The company is currently seeking licenses for food, drink, and entertainment.

A Boston Restaurant Talk source mentioned that Anthony’s will feature a two-floor layout, including a function space, a self-service pizza window, and live music or DJs.
