PSE&G Pipeline & Paving Project Resumes in Somerville July 8

SOMERVILLE, NJ - PSE&G and contractor crews will continue working on the gas pipe replacement project, on the roads listed below:

Monday, July 8 to Friday, July 12

All work is weather permitting.

- Fieldstone Drive, installing a gas main between N. Gaston Avenue and Schoolhouse Lane;

- N. Auten Avemue, connecting services between E. Main Street and Putnam Avenue;

- Madison Street, work will start when N. Auten Avenue is completed;

- S. Auten Avenue, installing a gas main between E. Main Street and Kirby Avenue (on July 8 and July 9);

- S. Richards Avenue, installing a gas main between E. Main Street and Kirby Avenue (on July 10 and July 11);

- S. Clark Avenue, installing a gas main between E. Main Street and Kirby Avenue (on July 12).

The gas pipeline replacement project has been ongoing in Somerville since March, 2023.
