Mail Order Bride Arrives to Rock Somerville's Summer Stage Saturday Night

SOMERVILLE, NJ - The Summer Stage live music series on Division Street sponsored by the Downtown Somerville Alliance continues Saturday with a performance by Mail Order Bride.

The four-piece cover band from Freehold is a regular on the Summer Stage, with two guitarists, bass and drums and a set list that includes covers of Don Henley, Tom Petty, ZZ Top and other classics from popular bands of the '70s, '80s and '90s.

The free concerts are expanding to include shows on the first Friday night of each month, according to Michelle Kassick, coordinator of the DSA concerts.

Friday shows will start at 7 p.m. The schedule includes:

Aug. 2nd - The JJ Lynch Band;

Sept 6th - Kit and The Cat Dragged In.

The Saturday night shows, from 6:30-9 p.m., are scheduled through Sept. 14.

Aug. 3rd - Two Broke Vets;

Aug. 10th - Stereo Circus;

Aug. 17th - Diamond Eye Jack;

Aug. 24th - Rockhorse;

Aug. 31st - MPack Band;

Sept. 7th - Bob Lanza;

Sept. 14th - Junkyard Dawgs.

Summer Stage is free of charge; Concert goers are encouraged to bring their own chairs and/or blankets.
