Somerville Resident Tampered With Evidence In Child Porn Bust: Prosecutor

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children notified the Somerset County Prosecutor's Office involving the uploading of child sexual abuse material by Allana Arrieta, Somerset County Prosecutor John McDonald said.

A search was conducted at Arrieta's Somerville home where they were were placed under arrest, McDonald said alongside Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office Chief of County Detectives Francisco Roman Jr., and Somerville Chief of Police Dennis Manning.

Arrieta was charged with distribution of images depicting the sexual exploitation and/or abuse of a child, possession of images depicting the sexual exploitation and/or abuse of a child and tampering with evidence, authorities said.

Arrieta was lodged at the Somerset County Jail pending a detention hearing, authorities said.
