Benton, Pa. — An investigation into a Benton fire led to charges being filed against a local man who admitted to setting it intentionally, police said. HAZLE TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE CO. (WOLF) — The death of a body found in a wooded area near the Hazleton High School on Wednesday has been ruled a homicide. According to the Luzerne County District Attorney's Office, Pennsylvania State Police were investigating several tips and had been patrolling the area on foot when a body was located around noon.
