Investigation Unveils Arrest in Hollister Parking Lot Murder

On July 28th, the Harris County Sheriff's Office investigators were summoned to an incident at the 7400 block of Hollister. A deceased male was discovered in the parking lot adjacent to a retention pond at approximately 6 a.m. The individual had sustained multiple gunshot wounds and stab injuries.

An update on the recent arrest reveals that the deceased individual has been formally identified as Oscar Archila-Estrade, aged 17. Angel Saldivar, aged 19, has been charged with Murder in the shooting incident involving Oscar.

In a coordinated effort on August 13, 2024, officers from the Violent Crimes Apprehension Team (VCAT) and the Texas Department of Public Safety apprehended Saldivar. Subsequently, Saldivar has been taken into custody at the Harris County Jail.
