    INGREDIENTS

    2 cups all-purpose flour

    1 cup buttermilk

    1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated

    1/2 cup deli ham, diced

    1/3 cup chives, finely chopped

1/4 cup (1/2 stick) cold, unsalted butter, grated

    1 tablespoon honey

    2 teaspoons baking powder

    3/4 teaspoon salt

    1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper

    1/4 teaspoon baking soda

To begin, preheat the oven to 450 degrees Fahrenheit and prepare a baking sheet by lining it with either parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, salt, pepper, and baking soda, whisking them together thoroughly.

Incorporate cold, grated butter into the mixture using either two forks or a pastry cutter until it reaches a coarse and pebbly consistency. Gently combine cheese, ham, and chives into the mixture until just blended, followed by the addition of buttermilk, sour cream, and honey until thoroughly combined.

Using a generous spoon or ice cream scoop, place dollops of biscuit dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Transfer the baking sheet to the oven and bake for 12 to 14 minutes, or until the biscuits are lightly browned.

Remove from oven and serve warm. Enjoy!
