    Criteria for Eligibility: To be eligible to work as an election worker, candidates must meet the following requirements:- Candidates must be at least 16 years of age on Election Day.- Candidates need to be enrolled in a public, private, or approved home school.- U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite.-

    Candidates must have the consent of their parent or legal guardian to engage in election work.- Successful completion of the mandated election worker training program is obligatory. Candidates who meet the specified criteria will undergo a selection process based on their qualifications and availability on Election Day. The application process typically includes submitting an application form, providing proof of eligibility such as age and citizenship, and attending an interview or orientation session. Once selected, election workers are required to commit to working on Election Day for the entire duration of their assigned shift. They will be trained on their duties and responsibilities, including tasks such as assisting voters, setting up polling stations, and ensuring the voting process runs smoothly.

    Additionally, election workers must adhere to a code of conduct that upholds the integrity of the election process, including maintaining confidentiality, impartiality, and professionalism throughout their duties. By fulfilling these requirements and responsibilities, election workers play a crucial role in ensuring fair, efficient, and transparent elections in their community.
