Police Investigating Wednesday Night Shooting in Downtown Silver Spring
Montgomery County Police are currently investigating a shooting incident that took place on Wednesday night in downtown Silver Spring. At 10:54 p.m. last night, MCPD announced via Twitter that two vehicles had been hit by gunfire in the 8300 block of Colesville Road. There have been no reported injuries, and as of now, no suspects are in custody.

According to the Maryland Lottery, the woman, who was not identified, purchased the winning instant ticket at Great Plaza Liquor, located at 6439 Marlboro Pike in District Heights.
