The family of a man who was struck and killed by a driver in Montgomery Hills has raised over $20,000 through a GoFundMe campaign, according to The MoCo Show. Montgomery County Police reported last week that a driver in a gray 2020 Honda CR-V was heading north on Georgia Ave. when they struck 27-year-old Khalid Shakir Scriven of Gaithersburg, who was in the roadway near Flora Lane. Scriven was pronounced dead at the scene.
