An MCPD spokesperson said that 3rd District officers responded to a call about the incident just before midnight on Thursday. Four Virginia Men Arrested for Downtown Silver Spring Shooting
Four men from Virginia were arrested by Montgomery County Police after a shooting in downtown Silver Spring on Thursday night. According to a press release from the MCPD, at around 10:29 p.m. on Thursday, officers from the 3rd District who were actively patrolling the area of Spring Street and 2nd Ave. noticed suspicious activity among a group of men. The 3rd District officers then relayed this information to nearby officers via radio.
