Takoma Park Police are seeking public assistance to identify the perpetrator of a murder that occurred at Advance Auto Parts in July 2022 involving a mobile mechanic. Nurhusen Hamid, who was working as a mobile mechanic in the Advance Auto Parts parking lot at 6300 New Hampshire Ave., was shot on Saturday, July 16, 2022, by an unknown suspect, according to police spokesperson Cathy Plevy.
