Nash & Smash Signage Installed at Woodmoor Shopping Center
Exterior signage is up at Nash & Smash as the restaurant prepares to open at the Woodmoor Shopping Center. Last December, we reported that the Aldie, Va.-based chain, which bills itself as the “ultimate destination for fried chicken, Nashville-style sandwiches, smashed burgers, and more,” had leased space #10 at 10121 Colesville Rd. This space was previously occupied by Subway and is located between Bento Express and Woodmoor Cleaners, adjacent to The UPS Store, which closed in June.

D.C.-based coworking and childcare center Two Birds has signed a 13,853-square-foot lease at Inventa Towers in downtown Silver Spring. Two Birds, which currently has locations in the West End and Tenleytown neighborhoods of D.C. and Old Town in Alexandria, Va., is the third lease signed within the last month at the former headquarters of Discovery, Inc. Metro Announces New Red Line Shuttle Schedule: Travel Times, Congestion to Improve Starting Monday
Metro will tweak its free shuttle bus service on Monday to speed up travel and reduce congestion in downtown Silver Spring during summer Red Line construction.
