Takoma Park Police have announced that a section of Maple Avenue will be closed on Wednesday evening for water main repairs. WSSC Water will conduct repairs on Maple Avenue between Sherman and Ritchie Avenues from 7 p.m. Wednesday until 5 a.m. Thursday. The road will be inaccessible during the repair period, and drivers are encouraged to follow detour signs or choose alternate routes to avoid delays.
