Jennie Garth is best known for her role as Kelly Taylor on the 1990s hit drama, “ Beverley Hills, 90210 .” Denim was a go-to for the de facto It Girl and her SoCal crew, who routinely rocked Levi’s 501s and mom jeans .

Now, the American actress is stepping back into jeans with a QVC denim collection called Me. The lineup, made with Unifi’s Repreve Our Ocean fibers, aims to inspire customers to put themselves first in styles meant to encourage confidence and body positivity .

“All women deserve to feel confident, beautiful and safe to be themselves,” Garth said. “It was a priority for me to design this line with the QVC customer in mind. ‘Me’ is designed for anyone who embraces the beauty of choice. QVC is the perfect platform for this launch as they aim to make sure all women, especially those over 50 who are often underrepresented, feel both seen and supported.”

Recycled materials is a natural fit for the line inspired by the colors and textures of California’s Central Coast. All denim pieces in the launch collection are made with Repreve’s recycled polyester crafted from post-consumer plastic bottles at high risk of ending up in the ocean. Each item is made with anywhere from 13 to 28 recycled bottles, the Textile Takeback brand said.

The following drops will also be inspired by different locations and the feelings they evoke.

“With her innate sense of style and an authentic connection to the customer, Jennie has created a brand that is a harmonious blend of elegance and relatability,” said Rachel Ungaro , QVC GMM and VP of fashion merchandising. “Through QVC’s Age of Possibility platform, we are championing women 50-plus to live their best and fullest lives, bringing them fresh products and brands that celebrate this vibrant stage in their lives.”

Standout pieces from the collection include a washed black denim jumpsuit, constructed with 59 percent cotton, 28 percent Repreve Our Ocean recycled polyester, 12 percent viscose and 1 percent elastane. The petite indigo relaxed fit jeans feature the same material matrix and deliver a semi-fitted feel through the waist and hips with a wide leg , while the Dorian indigo denim shirt is fashioned in 100 percent lyocell .

“As an esteemed member of our Q50, Jennie encourages women to connect to a mindset of self-care and self-love,” Ungaro said. “With Jennie’s styling secrets from her years in Hollywood, she will inspire QVC customers to embrace their own personal style.”

Unifi first launched the sustainable product in the summer of 2019, enabling customers and consumers to “play a role” in solving the growing problem of ocean plastic . To tackle the root cause of plastic waste turning up in the world’s oceans, the fiber is made with post-consumer plastic bottles collected within 30 miles of coastlines that don’t have formal waste or recycling systems. The bottles then go through the company’s proprietary Repreve recycling process to be transformed into yarn complete with FiberPrint tracer technology and U-Trust certification.

The collection is now available for purchase on QVC.com in sizes XXS-3X and 0-32 in prices ranging from $49-$129.
