Seward residents clean up storm debris
SEWARD, Ill. (WIFR) - The streets of Seward are eerie as debris from this week’s storms litter roads and yards. On Thursday, the north side of the village got power back, but the south side is still without. On top of no power, the residents don’t have running water. “Everyone is just getting a little worn out of this. We have been hauling limbs and cleaning things up but I don’t think we’re halfway there,” says village resident Andy Conover. “It’s really been stressing on the community ‘cause we have had no electricity and just a disaster of trees everywhere.
