Notre Dame football 2025 safety target sets commitment date

Notre Dame football still has some room to add a few prospects to its 2025 recruiting class, and will know soon if another will join the group.

North Carolina safety JaDon Blair , according to this father on social media, will make his commitment on July 5th. The 6-foot, 4-inch and 190-pound member of the secondary will have seven hats on the table: Michigan , Virginia Tech, South Carolina, Florida State , Penn State , Louisville and the Irish.

Many expect the nation’s No. 158 overall prospect and 13th ranked safety according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings to pick Notre Dame. He currently has 5 247Sports Crystal Ball picks , each of them in favor of the Irish.

Notre Dame currently has Ivan Taylor , Anthony Sacca , and Ethan Long committed at the position, but wants another in the class. The hope is that Blair is that fourth and final piece.
