Big Game Boomer: 'Nobody cares about' Notre Dame-USC rivalry

If you’re a fan of Notre Dame or USC, you know how big the rivalry between the two programs is. Emotions run high whenever they play each other, and it’s the most famous intersectional rivalry in college football, spanning nearly a century. Don’t tell that to Big Game Boomer though.

Big Game Boomer, whom we’ve highlighted on this site several times for the college football lists he posts to social media, had to comment on a question posed by On3 about the best rivalry in the sport:

Beg your pardon? Why poke the bear on this? There’s a reason this game was played during all the other major rivalry games when the Trojans are the home team. But yeah, nobody cares about this game that’s played every year.

No disrespect to the Egg Bowl as it’s a great rivalry game in and of itself. But don’t build it up at the expense of the annual clash between the Irish and Trojans.
