    Bremen's Luke Kincaid is triple event winner at Plymouth boys track IHSAA Sectional

    Bremen junior Luke Kincaid was a triple-event winner and led the Lions to a runnerup team finish at the Plymouth IHSAA Boys Track and Field Sectional Thursday night.

    Kincaid won the 800-meter race (2:03.61), the 1,600 (4:31.01) and anchored Bremen's winning 4x800 relay team (8:25.14). The other three members of that squad are Dylan Goff, Matthew Urbina and Hudson Fox.

    Culver Academies won the team title over the Lions, 127.5-110. The top three winners at sectionals move on the regionals next Thursday.

    Other area winners at Plymouth include Javan May of Triton in the 100 (11.20), teammate Cameron Callahan in the long jump (21-5.5) and Triton's 4x100 relay team (44.05) of Jayden Overmyer, Cole Shively, Callahan and May.

    At Goshen

    Area winners at the Goshen Sectional include a pair of Elkhart relay teams — the 4x100 and the 4x800. The 4x100 of Zachary Anderson, Anthony Leonard, Alfonzo Newbern and Nathan Munson won in 42.20 while the 4x800 of Max Huckleberry, Jackson Ezzell, Aaron Richter and Maxwell Malloy won in 7:59.15. Anderson also won the 200 (22.23) while teammate Trinton Harris won the long jump (21-11.25)

    Concord's Joseph Moon won the 100 (10.87) and Dalex Moreira won the 400 (50.49). Northridge's 4x400 relay of Jason Bauta, David Gingerich, Max Estep, Jaden Fisher won in 3:29.09.

    Warsaw won six events to claim the team title with 135 points and Concord was runnerup at 109.5.

    At Portage

    LaPorte's Tayshaun Williams won three events to lead LaPorte to the team title at the Portage Sectional. Williams won the 100 (10.90) and the 200 (22.24) and anchored the Slicers 4x400 relay team (3:23.9). The other members of that team are Willie Clay, Dylan West and Landyn Hunt. Clay also won the 400 (50.53) while teammate Liam Lilly won the 800 (1:58.99). LaPorte outdistanced Chesterton, 160.5-158.5, for the team title.

    The only other area winner at Portage was New Prairie's Isaac Fronk in the discus (163-1).
