All proceeds from Elkhart car show to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities of Michiana

ELKHART — Car enthusiasts are gearing up for the third annual Willie Weeks Memorial Classic Car & Truck Show where all proceeds will benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Michiana .

In remembrance of Navy veteran Willie Weeks, who was a supporter of many local charities before he passed away on Feb. 21, 2021, RMHC Michiana said in a press release, the event chooses a new charity to honor each year. This year, they chose the RMHC of Michiana as their recipient, furthering their mission of caring for families with sick and injured children. In Weeks' honor, classic cars and trucks from from 1900-1999 will be judged for multiple awards, including Best in Show.

The event will feature food from Ron’s River Dogs and Hay Huey Mexican Cuisine and a musical performance from vocalist Michael Carluccio .
