    'Science at Sunset' features Notre Dame prof's free chat at St. Pat's park pavilion

    SOUTH BEND — The deadline is Aug. 20 to sign up for an adults-only talk, titled “Science at Sunset,” about science at the outdoor pavilion at the University of Notre Dames’ ND-LEEF property at St. Patrick’s County Park , 50651 Laurel Road.

    Professor Kyle Bibby will talk about how antibiotic-resistant bacteria and genes run from agriculture into streams from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Aug. 22.

    Beer and wine are permitted but not in glass. Light snacks will be served. Seating is limited for this free program. Make reservations at 574-654-3155.
