Hello, my name is Meg. I am just a little over 1-year-old and weigh 44 pounds, but I am very strong for my svelte size. Since being at Pet Refuge I have been working on my leash walking skills and I know I am getting better every day. I have been told I am “extremely” smart (which makes me blush) but in all honesty, I could use a family that is willing to help me continue in my training, that will provide me with a structured lifestyle, and enrichment activities. I would never say no to those little training treats. I have lived with older children in my family and am friendly with new people but I’m currently not really fond of other dogs or cats, so I might do best in a “1-dog” home. A fenced yard is good for me so I can go out and run freely, releasing any extra energy I might have after we have gone hiking. I have been microchipped and I am up to date on my vaccinations.
