Here are the nominees, in alphabetical order by school.

    Bremen senior Tyrus Graverson

Back from injury, Graverson had a huge performance, catching four passes for 140 yards and two touchdowns, plus recovered a fumble on defense, in a 21-0 win over Glenn.

    Concord senior Jaron Thomas

Thomas carried the load for the Minutemen in a 27-17 win over NorthWood, rushing for 210 yards and three touchdowns in the victory.

    Elkhart senior Novell Miller

Miller accumulated 117 rushing yards and three touchdowns in a 38-17 win against Saint Joseph. All three scores came after the game was tied at 17.

    Niles senior Peyton Gordon

It was an efficient evening for Gordon, rushing for 140 yards and two touchdowns on only six attempts in a 62-0 win over Sturgis.

    New Prairie senior Bryce Bell

Bell blocked a punt that helped set up a touchdown, plus had a 35-yard touchdown catch in a 49-0 victory against South Bend Riley.

    NorthWood senior Dominic De Freitas

Even though the Panthers lost to Concord, De Freitas made Indiana state history Friday by making a 62-yard field goal. The previous state best was 61 yards.

    Penn senior Kellen Watson

Watson combined for four touchdowns (two rushing, two passing) in a 49-14 win over South Bend Adams.

    Plymouth senior Exander Ramirez

The Rockies pulled off the biggest upset of the week in beating rival Warsaw 33-32 (OT), and Ramirez was a key reason why. He had 158 rushing yards and one touchdown, 66 passing yards and one touchdown and scored the game-winning two-point conversion in overtime to lift the Rockies to a 4-2 record.
