    13 local high school marching bands advance to semi-state competition on Oct. 26

    The Indiana State School Music Association 's open class regionals took place on Oct. 12, and 13 local high school marching bands advanced to semi-state competition on Saturday, Oct. 26.

    State finals will be held Nov. 9 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.

    Bands are divided by school enrollment size. Class A enrollment is 1,800 or more; Class B enrollment is 900 to 1,799; Class C enrollment is 550 to 899; and Class D enrollment is up to 549.

    Here's a look at the local schools that advanced to semi-state in each class, where the competition will take place and the time the marching band will perform.

    Class A at Ben Davis High School

    1200 N. Girls School Road, Indianapolis

    Penn High School at 4:45 p.m.

    Goshen High School at 5:45 p.m.

    Elkhart High School at 6:45 p.m.

    Class B at Pike High School

    5401 W. 71st St., Indianapolis

    Plymouth High School at 3 p.m.

    Concord Community High School at 4:45 p.m.

    Northridge High School at 5 p.m.

    Class C at Decatur Central High School

    5251 Kentucky Ave., Indianapolis

    NorthWood High School at 3 p.m.

    Fairfield Jr./Sr. High School at 6:45 p.m.

    Class D at Franklin Community High School

    2600 Cumberland Drive, Franklin

    Triton Jr./Sr. High School at 3 p.m.

    LaVille Jr./Sr. High School at 3:30 p.m.

    Jimtown High School at 4:15 p.m.

    Knox Community High School at 6:15 p.m.

    Bremen High School at 6:30 p.m.
