Rutgers Women’s Soccer found itself in a battle on the field on Sunday afternoon and it turned into a physical battle in the second half. In the 55th minute, Scarlet Knight forward Gia Girman was called for a foul. UMass senior Ashley Lamond went for the ball while Girman was on the ground, which caused her to retaliate and led to a skirmish.
