WEST LONG BRANCH — The main campus at Monmouth University was locked down in the pre-dawn hours Tuesday after a threatening email was received by students and faculty. OLD BRIDGE, NJ - An Old Bridge couple were sentenced in Middlesex County in connection with the unlicensed practice of medicine and two sexual assaults that occurred in July 2022. An adult female victim went to receive medical treatment at the residence of Orger Sibaja-Bolanos, 67, of Old Bridge, who posed as a doctor. Sibaja-Bolanos sexually assaulted her and gave her injections. The subsequent investigation revealed that Sibaja-Bolanos’s wife, Rosa Perez, 64, of Old Bridge, assisted with the unlicensed medical practice. BAYONNE, NJ - a 25-year-old Bayonne man who goes by Famouss Richard on social media, was arrested by Bayonne Police on July 12, and charged with being in possession of a defaced firearm and large capacity magazine. According to a report, Richard Sharp was arrested just over a week after he reportedly pointed a handgun at two victims during an argument that took place in the parking lot of QuickChek, Sharp is said to have fled the area in his vehicle after the incident. Distracted Driver Crashes Car Into the Woods in South Brunswick, No Injuries
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - Police say a distracted driver lost control of their vehicle and crashed into the woods near Route 27 on Wednesday morning. The driver was not injured but was issued two tickets, according to police. The 21-year-old driver was distracted and traveling too fast when they turned off Route 27 onto Promenade Boulevard, according to South Brunswick Police.
