"Having only ONE person at customer service at a store as big as @ Walmart is crazy work," she tweeted. "Line be 65 people long and you wait 12 hours to return a pillow."
Walmart Help responded to Bonnie's grievance , stating, "That doesn't sound right, Bonnie," and invited her to discuss the issue in more detail through a direct message, according to a report by the U. S. Sun.
While no further developments have been reported, Bonnie's experience is not unique among Walmart shoppers.
Another disgruntled customer from Easley, South Carolina, took to Facebook to complain about the checkout process at her local Walmart, criticizing the new self-checkout systems and the lack of staff.
"I just want to say that the Walmart in Easley is getting out of hand!!" she posted. "Self-checkout is for 15 items or less, but they only have 2 people doing regular checkout! Walmart if we can't do self-checkout, you better load up the registers with employees!"
She continued to describe her exasperating shopping ordeal on Facebook, recounting how after a 30-minute wait at the checkout, she ended up bagging her own purchases.
"So not only did I have to wait 30 minutes I HAD TO BAG MY OWN STUFF! and I didn't get paid to do it," she complained.
One person replied to her complaint, stating, "Walmart has forgotten what customer service is."
Another disgruntled customer spoke out about the self-checkout woes at Walmart, deciding to abandon their shopping and look for help elsewhere.
"Is this our world now? " lamented a shopper faced with lengthy queues and no available checkouts.
